Hershey Biomass Products was hired to clean up debris after the Germann Road fire, one of the largest wildfires in Wisconsin for the past three decades. The fire consumed 7,442 acres and destroyed 47 structures near Gordon and Highland in Douglas County, according to Wisconsin DNR. A logging crew harvesting timber unintentionally started the historic fire.
